“This above all: to thine own self be true, And it must follow, as the night the day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.”
(“Hamlet” by William Shakespeare)
VELVET DUSK is inspired by the great classic drama “The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Denmark” by the English playwright William Shakespeare. It explores timeless, deep and dark themes like life and death, appearance and reality, strength and weakness, and love and revenge.
An unusual fragrance in which the top note combines natural crisp bergamot essences with fruity tangerine and grapefruit oils and refined violet leaves.
The depth of a dusk followed by night is captured by vetiver, nutmeg and a dry wisp of tobacco aroma.
Once the heart of the fragrance fully develops, in comes the perfectly balanced composition of cedar wood with a subtle hint of amber and musk, ensuring a long-lasting, lingering reverberation.

The inspiration for the "VELVET DUSK" come deep themes of “The tragedy of hamlet, Prince of Denmark”. To capture that I chose to combine bright elements such as golden citrus: Grapefruit, Bergamot, Tangerine, contrasted with Dark woods such as Cashmere woods, black Cedarwood, and mossy Patchouli. I wanted the perfume on the edge, between light and darkness, between fragility with delicate violet leaves and soft musks and strength by using Patchouli and Tobacco. The wholeness...Velvet Dusk expresses the last lights, beautiful, strong, and fragile. “To be or not to be”, or to be everything with elegance.
